Arsenal's Kieran Gibbs 'disappointed' by failure to overtake Manchester City

Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs has admitted that he and his teammates feel "disappointed" not to have overtaken Manchester City to move to the top of the Premier League table. The Gunners would have led the standings had they beaten North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday as City had earlier failed to strike in a goalless draw against Aston Villa. As it happened, Arsenal could only earn a 1-1 draw at the Emirates after Gibbs scored in the second half, in response to Harry Kane's 32nd-minute strike.
