Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud: I benefited from spell on bench

N FC's Craig Burley discusses the North London derby and believes that Tottenham were more organised than Arsenal. Olivier Giroud says his spell on the bench at Arsenal was just the "shot in the arm" he needed to rediscover his scoring touch. Giroud, 29, suffered a drop in form earlier this season and had to bide his time as Gunners boss Arsene Wenger gave Theo Walcott the chance to prove himself in attack. But Giroud has now scored seven goals in eight games for club and country since getting a double for France against Denmark in October. The ex-Montpellier front man missed out on the chance to add to that tally in Sunday's 1-1 draw in the North London derby against Tottenham....
