Embarrassed Giroud pledges to bounce back

Olivier Giroud has admitted being hurt and embarrassed by his performance against Monaco on Wednesday night, but says he'll work hard to recover and start scoring again. The Frenchman missed a clutch of chances that a striker with 8 goals in his previous 11 games would expect to score, and his misses were made even more costly by Arsenal's shambolic defending. However, Giroud says that despite being affected by what happened, he's not a broken man and will keep going. 'I am really hurting, more than disappointed, it has been embarrassing for me,' he said.
