Arsenal target told to reject new contract ahead of January window

Arsenal look to have been boosted in their chase to sign Josh Windass after his father Dean Windass told him to snub a new deal with Accrington Stanley, Daily Star reports. The 21-year-old is being monitored by a host of clubs as the Gunners are believed to be plotting a potential £1million bid for his services in January. However, it is now likely that Josh will be on his way out following remarks made by his father as he showed a number of good displays for his side this season. 'He's been offered a new contract by Accrington and I have told him as his father to turn it down. His agent has said the same thing,' he said.
