Chelsea To Face Rejection In Pursuit Of Ex-Arsenal Captain
It has been reported that Fenerbahce insist they're not seeking to sell Robin van Persie in January. The former Manchester United and Arsenal captain has been linked with Chelsea today. But Fenerbahce have made a statement insisting Van Persie 'does not want to leave' and the club 'do not plan to sell' following speculation the Dutchman could leave. Reports from Turkey today suggested that the Dutchman is going to be replaced with Brazil striker Fred from Fluminense. But the club added: 'He is a precious player for the squad and he will keep serving for our team'.
