Cazorla undergoes knee surgery

Arsene Wenger has revealed that Santi Cazorla has undergone knee surgery after rupturing his knee ligaments last weekend against Norwich. The midfielder was injured in a clash with Gary O'Neil early in the second half, and after scans showed damage the Spanish international was keen to have the problem sorted as quickly as possible. Speaking after the win over Sunderland, Wenger said, 'The surgery has now happened. It’s not the season.
