Premier League Chairmen Must Be Stronger In Protecting Managers – Wenger

It has been reportEd that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has called on Premier League chairmen to be stronger in the face of public opinion. The Frenchman was reacting to the sacking of Garry Monk this week. He said: 'Garry Monk surprised me as he had done a good job last year. I was quite surprised. 'Why do managers lose their jobs? The modern world is more impatient. 'It is always down to people at the clubs. Public opinion often lives in the present and you could say they need to be stronger than ever to resist to that.'
