Russian star poised to be Wenger's next bargain buy

The news of another setback to Danny Welbeck has once again caused Arsenal supporters to cry out for another signing. This one time it seems that Arsene Wenger’s been on it before anybody else. According to reports in The Metro, a deal for Dynamo Moscow striker Aleksandr Kokorin has been agreed between the two sides with the player agreeing personal terms with the club (according to Izvestia). Although a striker was considered a priority last July, not a single outfield player was signed. The January transfer window looks a chance to make up to rectify that.
