Wenger Admits To Missing Out On Man City's Raheem Sterling

It has been reported that Arsene Wenger has revealed that he was beaten to the signing of Raheem Sterling by Liverpool. The England international star, who joined Manchester City for £49million in the summer, came through the ranks of QPR's youth academy before making the move to Liverpool in 2010. Wenger has previously stated that he had no interest in the 21-year-old but ahead of Monday night's clash with City, has acknowledged that he was not swift enough to lure the talented youngster to North London.
