Arsenal midfielder to leave at the end of the season

Arsenal star Mathieu Flamini is set to leave the club at the end of the season, according to reports from the Mirror. Flamini seems certain to leave the Gunners next summer, despite the Frenchman holding the record for not having lost a single of his 52 league games at the Emirates stadium. However, the club’s ‘lucky ‘charm’ will see his contract expire in June along with fellow midfielders Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky. Both Arteta and Rosicky have struggled with injuries for a majority of the season, and with the duo unlikely to gain full fitness soon, manager Arsene Wenger has put central midfielders on top of his January transfer wishlist.
