Arsenal plotting shock swoop for ex-Man United hitman

Arsenal are planning a shock move for former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, reports the Daily Star. After being given the boot by Louis van Gaal at United, Chicharito has gone on an impressive run of form, scoring 19 goals in 21 games. And it's that form that has both infuriated Red Devils fans and alerted Arsene Wenger to the possibility of signing the 27-year-old. It is believed that the French boss is looking for cover for Olivier Giroud and sees the Mexican as the perfect addition to his frontline, with Hernandez quite possibly keen to have another crack at the Premier League.
