Arsene Wenger Targets 72 Points To Ensure Champions League

Reports are out claiming that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has set a goal of 72 points to secure Champions League football for next season. The Gunners currently sit third on the Premier League table on 51 points with 11 matches remaining and Wenger feels a further 21 will see them into the top four come season’s end. “[We’ll need] 72 points,” he said ahead of Wednesday night’s clash with QPR. “People have finished in the top four with 67 points, but if you look at this year, we have 51 points now.
