Aston Villa boss confirms talks with Arsenal over move for outcast Mathieu Debuchy

Aston Villa boss Remi Garde has confirmed that he has held a conversation with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger about a possible deal to sign full-back Mathieu Debuchy on loan, the Daily Star reports. Speaking at a press conference, Garde was addressing the club's current injury problems that have seen them lose summer signing Adama Traore for up to 10 weeks with a broken metatarsal (via Star).
