Mesut Ozil Rated ‘Best German Abroad' By Kicker Magazine

It has been reported that Mesut Ozil has been rated the ‘best German abroad' by German football magazine Kicker. The Arsenal playmaker was the only German playing away from the Bundesliga that was put in the ‘international class' category which sits below ‘world class' and ahead of ‘players of note' and ‘players in focus'. The Kicker rankings, which are published twice a year, suggested that some lapses in matches against smaller opposition denied Ozil joining the world class category.
