Result: FA Cup holders Arsenal cruise into fourth round with win over Sunderland

Arsenal got the defence of their FA Cup crown off to a winning start this afternoon with a 3-1 victory over Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium. The 12-time winners of the competition were forced to come from behind at the start of their quest to become the first team to win it three years in a row since the 1880s, but goals from Joel Campbell, Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud handed the Gunners a 13th consecutive FA Cup win.
