Confirmed: Arsenal boss announces first January signing
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Mohamed Elneny is an Arsenal player, announcing our first signing of the January transfer window following our 3-3 draw with Liverpool, as reported by the Evening Standard. The Egyptian's transfer saga has been ongoing for quite some time now, with work permit issues among other things seemingly causing a number of delays. The move now seems complete though, and although there is nothing on Arsenal's official website just yet, Wenger's confirmation is enough to make it official. 'Elneny will of course join us.
