Wenger Targets Further Midfield Signings Despite Arrival Of Mohamed Elneny

The Daily Telegraph reported that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is still looking to further strengthen his midfield despite the £7million signing of Mohamed Elneny. Arsenal completed their first outfield signing of the season by securing the services of midfielder Elneny from Swiss club Basel on Thursday but still Wenger is keen on more midfield acquisitions. Despite the arrival of the 23-year-old Egypt international, Wenger is still in the hunt to sign another midfielder due to constant injuries to the likes of Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla, Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky.
