Aston Villa are said to be closing in on a loan deal to sign Arsenal full-back Mathieu Debuchy on loan for the remainder of the season, according to the Birmingham Mail. The 30-year-old has been mostly out of the Arsenal side this season, and had expressed his desire to move on in search of more first team football in order to give himself a chance at regaining his place in the France squad ahead of the Euros this summer.
