Ex-Arsenal and Chelsea man set for move to MLS

Former Arsenal and Chelsea defender Ashley Cole is set to make a move to MLS side LA Galaxy, according to The Telegraph. The Englishman has been frozen out at Roma and has not played at all this season as the Italian side prefer Lucas Digne at left-back. The latest report suggests that the defender has started negotiations with the Los Angeles side, with a settlement of his existing contract with Roma set to be comfortably agreed. Cole would join former England international team-mate Steven Gerrard at the MLS side, while there are also reports suggesting that Joleon Lescott could move to the club also.
