Mark Hughes 'pleased' with Arsenal draw

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has claimed that a draw was a fair result from his side's Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Britannia Stadium this afternoon. Both goalkeepers were forced into making important stops to keep the opposition at bay, with Jack Butland denying Olivier Giroud in the first half and Petr Cech being called into action on a few occasions after the break. Ultimately neither side could find a breakthrough in the goalless draw, but Hughes insists that he is "pleased" with the result and his side's performance.
