Arsenal boss rues injury to midfield star following Stoke stalemate

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger revealed that his side desperately missed the quality of star man Mesut Ozil following the 0-0 draw with Stoke City, SkySports reports. Despite the result, the Gunners remain top of the table following the 1-1 draw between second place Leicester City and rock bottom Aston Villa. Wenger was unable to call upon the services of Ozil for the fixture, given that the midfielder was suffering from a minor foot injury. He was also unwilling to risk another star attacker in Alexis Sanchez, as the Chile international was not fully fit following a hamstring problem picked up back in November.
