Wenger hails Girouds mental strength

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger lauded Olivier Giroud for his mental strength following Wednesday's 2-1 win at QPR. Arsene Wenger said Olivier Giroud is mentally strong after the maligned Arsenal striker inspired the Londoners to a 2-1 victory at Loftus Road. Giroud was heavily criticised following Arsenal's 3-1 defeat to Monaco in the opening leg of their UEFA Champions League last-16 tie last week. But the France international striker has responded with goals in consecutive Premier League fixtures.
