Dynamo Moscow confirms Arsenal interest in striker

Dynamo Moscow sporting director Konstantin Sarsania admitted that Arsenal were interested in the services of Aleksandr Kokorin, Express reports. The 24-year-old emerged as a target for manager Arsene Wenger heading into the January window, but a formal move for the striker failed to materialize. It was believed that the Gunners would have been able to sign the Russia international for only £4.3millon with Wenger keen on reinforcing his options up top.
