Atletico Reject Tottenham Bid For Arsenal Target Jackson Martinez
It has been reported that Tottenham have failed with a bumper bid for Atletico Madrid striker Jackson Martinez. According to Marca, Spurs tabled a cash offer of 30 million for the Colombia international, with Atletico referring the Londoners to his buyout clause. Martinez's escape clause is set at 35 million. With Atletico facing a two window transfer ban, they're reluctant to lose any of heir first teamers, though will be powerless if Spurs raise their offer by 5 million. Martinez has struggled to settle in Madrid and has scored just three goals this season. Recent reports claim that Martinez was offered to Arsenal and Chelsea.
