Wenger Warns Chelsea, Tottenham Over Wembley Plans

It has been revealed that Arsenal Wenger has warned London clubs Chelsea and Tottenham of the disadvantages of playing at Wembley. Both clubs are planning to shift their bases to Wembley on a temporary basis while their respective stadiums get redeveloped. Wenger revealed the problems he faced when the Gunners played their Champions League group stage games at headquarters between 1998 and 2000. 'It was a nightmare,' he said. 'In hindsight it was the wrong decision. At the time at Highbury we had to cut 5,000 seats. We decided to go to Wembley, but we didn't feel at home.
