Arsenal close to contract extension with 9-time title winner

Arsenal in position to win their first league title in a decade thanks in large part to the superb coaching job Arsene Wenger has pulled off this season – in spite of a roster that has been decimated by injuries. As a result, the club is going to try and lock in their manager before his contract expires in 2017. According to The Sun, in addition to being on the verge of a contract extension through 2019, Wenger is committing his long-term future to Arsenal by completely revamping the scouting and front office structure.
