Report: Injured Jenkinson ruled out for the season

The son of West Ham chairman, David Sullivan, claims the injury sustained by Carl Jenkinson on Saturday will see the Arsenal loanee ruled out for the rest of the season. The right-back, who is spending his second successive season at Upton Park, returned to Slaven Bilic's starting lineup for the game against Manchester City but lasted only ten minutes as he picked up a foot problem in a penalty-conceding collision with Sergio Aguero. Just after the Argentine striker converted from the spot, Jenkinson limped from the field to be replaced by new signing Sam Byram.
