Arsenal defender ruled out for rest of the season
West Ham United full-back Carl Jenkinson is expected to miss the rest of the season with a “significant injury”, according to the Daily Mail. The on-loan Arsenal defender limped off 11 minutes into Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Saturday and may never play agin for the Hammers. Jenkinson is in the midst of his second successive season-long loan spell at Upton Park but will return to the Emirates Stadium in the summer. New signing Sam Byram, who replaced Jenkinson against City, is seen as West Ham’s right-back of the future following his arrival from Leeds United.
