Arsenal transfer news: Fee agreed, talks ongoing with in-demand star

Mathieu Debuchy looks set to leave the club on loan this January, with fellow Premier League sides Aston Villa and Sunderland both having agreed deals to lure the Frenchman away, according to the Mirror. The report suggests both clubs have come to an agreement with Arsenal, and Arsene Wenger will therefore let Debuchy choose where he wants to spend the rest of the campaign. Talks are ongoing between the player and his two potential destinations, but it seems he's yet to make his decision. There were fears that letting Debuchy go without bringing in a replacement would leave us light at right-back, but Wenger appears to have a plan to alleviate those fears.
