Ex-Arsenal Midfielder Abou Diaby On The Verge Of Marseille Debut
It has been reported that former Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby is on the verge of making his debut for French outfit Marseille, nearly a year-and-a-half after his last competitive outing. Diaby's last match was for the Gunners in September 2014, but it appears the injury-plagued 29-year-old is finally healthy enough to make his debut for the Ligue 1 club. 'We will travel with a squad of 19 players which includes Abou Diaby,' Marseille boss Michel said ahead of Thursday's Coupe de France clash with fourth tier outfit Trelissac. 'He has trained with the squad in recent days and he feels ready. 'It is important for the player's morale, it can give him confidence. He will be on the team sheet....
