Jordan Henderson Liverpool contract stand-off?

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is reportedly facing a struggle to keep Jordan Henderson at the club beyond the end of his current deal. The 24-year-old, who has captained the Reds on several occasions this season in the absence of Steven Gerrard, has just over a year to run on his existing contract. However, The Mirror claims that no talks have taken place between the parties since Henderson turned down an £80,000-a-week offer from the club's hierarchy. Liverpool are thought to be offering Henderson a pay rise of £15,000 a week, to try and keep the ex-Sunderland star within the current salary boundaries at Anfield.
