Huge blow as Arsenal star's serious injury revealed
There's good news and bad news where Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is concerned, but unfortunately it's mostly bad. On the one hand, the winger doesn't need surgery for the injury suffered against Barcelona, but he is likely to miss around eight weeks of action, as reported by the BBC. The 22-year-old collided awkwardly with Javier Mascherano during our 2-0 loss against Barcelona last week, and was very visibly in pain after the coming together. He soldiered on for a while – almost certainly unwisely – but eventually was forced off.
