Arsenal star refutes manager claims regarding new season-ending injury

Arsenal star Santi Cazorla has dismissed manager Arsene Wenger’s claims that he could miss the rest of the season, stating that he will return on the 1st of April, according to reports from the London Evening Standard. Wenger revealed earlier this week that Cazorla may miss the remainder of the campaign, with the Spain international supposedly picking up a new Achilles injury while he was still recovering from a knee problem he sustained at the end of November. His absence has been felt, as Jack Wilshere’s injury along with Aaron Ramsey’s struggles to play in the double pivot alongside Francis Coquelin have seen the Gunners lose three games on the trot.
