Wenger Insists Arsenal ‘Unlucky' To Lose To Swansea City
Reports have emerged claiming that Arsene Wenger felt his Arsenal side were unfortunate to lose to Swansea City on Wednesday night. The Gunners missed a golden opportunity to bridge the gap on league leaders Leicester City by losing 2-1 at home to the Swans after taking an early lead. Arsenal squandered the advantage given to them by Joel Campbell's 15th-minute opener by conceding to Wayne Routledge and Ashley Williams either side of the break, prompting a stern reaction from the manager. 'It was a very unlucky defeat because we created many chances, we were unlucky in our finishing and they only had two shots on target which were both goals,' he said.
