No Champions League Will Not Change Chelsea Transfer Plans – Keown

It has been revealed that Arsenal defender Martin Keown has stated his belief that Chelsea will remain an attractive destination for players next season despite the lack of Champions League football. Following their disappointing elimination from the Round of 16 of the Champions League at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea seem set to miss out on Europe's elite club competition next year for the first time in 13 years. Many believe that the lack of elite European football will hamper Chelsea's chances of signing top players during the summer but Keown does not agree and has stated that the Blues' financial might should help them sign their desired targets.
