Danny Welbeck breaks the deadlock at Goodison Park
An early goal was expected at Goodison Park as both teams hit the woodwork in the opening three minutes through Seamus Coleman and Danny Welbeck. But it was the Gunners who broke the deadlock on seven minutes when Alexis Sanchez set up Welbeck to round goalkeeper Joel Robles and pass it into an empty net. And 19-year-old Alex Iwobi doubled their lead with his first senior goal on his first Premier League start just before the break. Hector Bellerin released Iwobi down the right flank with an inch-perfect ball for the 19-year-old to charge into the box and finish low through the legs of Robles. GETTY
