But it was the Gunners who broke the deadlock on seven minutes when Alexis Sanchez set up Welbeck to round goalkeeper Joel Robles and pass it into an empty net. And 19-year-old Alex Iwobi doubled their lead with his first senior goal on his first Premier League start just before the break.
