Report: New deal lined up for Iwobi

According to The Times, Arsenal will reward Alex Iwobi's first team breakthrough with an improved contract just six months after the Nigerian international committed his future to the club. The 19-year-old signed a new deal in October after impressing during pre-season friendlies and has since made 14 appearances in all competitions this season. It's claimed that the Nigerian international, who scored his first Premier League goal in a man-of-the-match performance against Everton on Saturday, could see his pay packet rise to £10,000 a week.
