Akpom determined to follow Iwobi into Arsenal's first team
Arsenal youngster Chuba Akpom has shared his delight at seeing fellow academy product Alex Iwobi in the Gunners first team and vowed to be playing alongside him next season according to BT Sport. The 20-year-old has enjoyed loan spells with Brentford, Coventry, Nottingham Forest and was allowed to join Hull City on a season-long loan deal in August. The striker is currently on international duty with England U21's and scored a brace against Switzerland in a Euro qualifier on Saturday night. Akpom, who has been part of the Arsenal set-up since the age of six and has set his sights on proving to Arsene Wenger that he deserves to be in Arsenal’s squad next season. He told BT Sport:...
