Per Mertesacker not giving up on Premier League title

Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker has refused to give up on the Premier League title despite Leicester City restoring an 11-point gap over the Gunners at the weekend. Arsene Wenger's side cruised to a 4-0 victory over Watford to close the deficit down to eight points, but the Foxes responded with a 1-0 win over Southampton on Sunday to edge closer to the title. Arsenal do have a game in hand over both Leicester and second-placed Tottenham Hotspur, however, and Mertesacker believes that wins in their next four games will put them right in the mix.
