Arsenal news: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain out for three to four weeks with hamstring injury

Arsenal and England midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is expected to be out for between three and four weeks with the hamstring strain he suffered against Manchester United on Monday. Oxlade-Chamberlain is awaiting the full results of a scan on the injury but the initial fear is of at least three weeks out. That would mean missing the Champions League tie against Monaco but also England’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Lithuania and then the friendly with Italy. Oxlade-Chamberlain is also a doubt for Arsenal’s fixture against Liverpool on April 4 although the severity of the injury will become clearer in the coming days.
