Jack Wilshere steps up return to first team by starting for Arsenal Under-21s

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is edging closer to a first-team appearance after being named in the starting lineup for tonight's Under-21s clash. The 24-year-old has missed the entire season so far with a broken leg, and has just seven games left to feature in before the campaign comes to a close. Wilshere, who returned to training with the first-team squad last week, has been selected by U21s boss Steve Gatting for tonight's match against Newcastle United U21s at the Emirates.
