Arsenal midfielder to receive tempting offer to leave Emirates this summer

Southampton have made re-signing Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain their priority in the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror. The Mirror reports that the Saints will offer the England international the vice-captaincy to get him ahead of Manchester City, Chelsea and West Ham United. The Mirror understands that Oxlade-Chamberlain is happy at the Emirates Stadium, but is desperate to play more and will consider his future at the end of the season. The 22-year-old showed wonderful promise upon joining the Gunners from Southampton in 2011, but his development has stalled somewhat in recent years.
