Injured Arsenal midfielder edges closer to full fitness

Jack Wilshere played just over an hour for the U21s against Newcastle recently, and now looks set to take another step in his rehabilitation with another outing at youth level, according to the Mirror. The 24-year-old is apparently going to play against Swansea in midweek, where Arsene Wenger will presumably be hoping to give him closer to 90 minutes. Wilshere was solid against Newcastle, and after taking a while to get into the swing of things he started really controlling the game. He made a few of his trademark runs and was unlucky not to have an assist or two.
