Result: Swansea Under-21s beat Arsenal Under-21s

Swansea City's Under-21 team have secured a spot in the playoffs of the Premier League Division 2 following a 3-1 victory over Arsenal's Under-21 side on Thursday afternoon. The success for Swansea, which was their fourth league victory in a row, has taken them onto 36 points in the table, just four points behind title-chasing Arsenal, who remain second behind Derby County. It took just 16 minutes for the home side to take the lead, with Adam King heading a Adnan Maric cross into the back of the net in front of watching first-team boss Francesco Guidolin.
