Ladies appoint new Technical Director
Tessa Payne has returned to the club as Technical Director of Arsenal Ladies’ Regional Talent Club programme.She will oversee the development of the Gunners’ young players, from under-10 to under-16 level. Tessa previously worked as Arsenal Ladies’ Centre of Excellence director, and coached current first teamers Leah Williamson and Carla Humphrey at youth level.She said: “It’s great for me to be back at Arsenal to take over the reins from John Bayer who has led the programme forwards over the past eight years. I hope that in my role I can ensure the club continues to be a leader in the development of the women’s game at all levels.”Tessa...
