Jack Wilshere Denies OAP Spit Storm
Reports have emerged claiming that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has denied reports he spat at a pensioner. The Sun reports Wilshere was reportedly angered after neighbour Alun Cathcart complained about the 18ft netting Wilshere put up to stop balls getting lost. Mr Cathcart called police in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, complaining he had been threatened. But last night he denied the ‘completely untrue' claim that he spat at Mr Cathcart, tweeting: 'Today's sun story is completely untrue, me spitting at an OAP? Come on….this is harmful to me and my family!!'
