Wenger Sweating Over Danny Welbeck Knee Injury

It has been revealed that Arsenal's Arsene Wenger admits he is concerned about the injury sustained by Danny Welbeck on Sunday. The England international striker hurt his knee when attempting to tackle Bacary Sagna in the first half of the Gunners' 2-2 draw with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium and Wenger fears it could be serious. 'The medic told me it looks like a meniscus (injury). I hope they are wrong,' the Frenchman told Sky Sports. 'Danny looked down and he knows. I tried to keep him on the pitch, I tried to get him on again and straight away he moved out. He's not a guy who likes to move out so I am a bit worried.'
