Gladbach Resigned To Losing Arsenal Target Granit Xhaka

It has been reported that Borussia Monchengladbach have admitted they will struggle to keep hold of Granit Xhaka as they await a formal bid from Arsenal for their club captain, reports the London Evening Standard. With Xhaka keen on a move to England, the club's sporting director Max Eberl has admitted that there are no guarantees that they will be able to keep hold of the 23 year old midfielder. 'We will fight for Granit,' Max Eberl told Kicker on Monday. 'There are clubs that can offer an even bigger chance of playing Champions League and competing for titles and trophies.'
