Welbeck's injury forces Hodgson to delay England announcement

Follow the author on Twitter: @Attlee Roy Hodgson was getting set to announce the England squad for the Euro 2016 Championships in France, but injuries to Danny Welbeck among others have forced him to rethink his plans and delay the announcement, according to the Daily Mail. Welbeck suffered a nasty looking injury against Manchester City, colliding with Bacary Sagna and awkwardly twisting his knee. He attempted to carry on, but was soon forced off and hobbled down the tunnel. It's yet to be confirmed exactly how long he'll be out for, but he's almost certainly going to miss the Euros this summer. Hodgson now needs to rethink his plans, and consider who he'll get in to replace the former...
