Arsenal look to make first signing with 43m bid confirmed
Follow the author on Twitter: @Attlee Granit Xhaka has been consistently linked with a move to Arsenal for quite some time, and the switch seems to be imminent with German publication RP-Online confirming that we've lodged a 43m bid. The Swiss international has been excellent for Borussia Monchengladbach this season, and is understandably being chased by some top clubs. We seem to be leading the race though, with the 23-year-old seemingly keen on a move to the Premier League (via the Metro).
